Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to organise?
Your flight to Colombo International Airport - CMB (many options direct from Sydney and Melbourne), travel insurance for the duration of your trip, and be sure to have a valid passport. We will arrange airport transfers from Colombo to Dreamsea on the 26th April, the drive is approximately 2.5hours.
What level of Surf experience is required?
All levels are welcome, however the waves and conditions are best suited to beginner - intermediate. We max the retreat at 8 guests in order to get you optimal time in the water!
Do I need to bring my own board?
If you're already surfing, we recommend you bring your own board. If you need to borrow or just starting out, we have plenty of boards for you to use (free during lessons, small fee for free surfing)
What is the schedule like?
This varies depending on the surf forecast, but generally the morning is "active" with pre surf Pilates and a light snack, breakfast after surfing, lunch and down time, afternoon stretch/Pilates/Myofascial release ending with a drink and group video analysis before dinner.
Is Sri Lanka safe to travel to?
In our opinion, yes! There are currently no travel warnings for Sri Lanka.
